Dr. Andrew helps athletes and laborers
Does this sound familiar?
- I have a nagging injury that’s not getting better.
- I just got hurt, and I have a game coming up that I need to play in.
- I’m in the middle of a big project, and I can’t afford to be hurt.
- I need to get this [fill in the blank] cleared up before the season starts.
- I can’t find a doctor who can help me eliminate the pain – they tell me I’ll have to live with it forever, and I won’t be able to do [fill in the blank] anymore.
Dr. Andrew explains: “The athletes and laborers I work with want to get back into action as quickly as possible. They want me to tell them what they can do, not what they can’t do. I often work with athletes in the pre-season to help them get ready for the season, or during the season if they’re injured.
Both athletes and laborers have been to medical doctors who have told them they can’t do [fill in the blank] anymore, and they are looking for a second opinion, an alternative that will heal them properly so they can get back to work. In my experience, almost ALL injuries and ailments can be healed. You just have to go about the healing process the right way, by evaluating the patient holistically (physically, nutritionally, emotionally) to ensure we correct the right imbalances so healing can take place.”
Dr. Andrew has a sports background and as a certified strength and conditioning specialist, is especially-suited to working with patients who have careers that depend on their body being strong, at its best. Dr. Andrew’s certification and training in Pain Management has been especially adept at helping athletes and laborers play and work with as little pain as possible while they are recovering from their injuries.
During the initial intake, Dr. Andrew will do a full exam to hear about your symptoms, looking for patterns and contributing factors to dis-ease in the body and determining which modalities will be most useful in treating you . All disease is treated physically, nutritionally, mentally—your body will tell us what it needs—so that you can start feeling better, ideally within one or two visits.
