Dr. George Goodheart (founder of Applied Kinesiology) Passes Away

Dr. George Goodheart, one of Dr Colyer’s mentors (through Applied Kinesiology) died March 5, 2008, aged 90.
Dr. George Goodheart was born in Detroit, Michigan, in 1918. He graduated from the National College of Chiropractic in 1939. Dr. Goodheart is recognized as the founder and developer of Applied Kinesiology. He held numerous positions of distinction during his career, including director for the International College of Applied Kinesiology-U.S.A.
Dr. Goodheart lectured and taught throughout the United States, Japan, Europe, and Australia; and was the official doctor of chiropractic for the Lake Placid Winter Olympic Games in 1980.
Dr. Goodheart was honoured with the Leonardo da Vinci Award from the Institute for the Achievement of Human Potential in 1987 and was cited for his research by both Logan and Palmer Colleges of Chiropractic. He received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the International College of Kinesiology in 1997. Dr. Goodheart was a fellow at the International College of Chiropractic.
Dr. Goodheart is remembered with great respect and gratitude by many, many DCs, DOs and MDs, who, each day, rely on his research in their health clinics worldwide.
